it's a short story but it's a long one

"I'm going to stay and get some sun."

I did a quick look to the sky which I knew was overcast, as my right eyebrow went up and the other, slightly down.

"I mean fresh air."

I smiled with satisfaction because I just want him to say what he means.

All his dreams came true but he never dreamed.

Doesn't one seem sadder than the other?
